A woonerf in Harlem.

  1. Site Plan

    New site plan of the area, showing the woonerf, meadow, terraced seating, and existing context. Woonerf is a Dutch concept of 'living space' in which pedestrians, cyclists, and cars can coexist. It is a solution to an underutilized paved space that is about to be transformed as part of Columbia's Manhattanville expansion.
